Answer #1

Question:
Every year, Lyons corporation [the company that produces Barney and Friends] makes millions of dollars. A portion of that profit is returned directly to PBS to help make possible other quality TV shows.

Answer:
FANTASY. The Fact is that Lyon's corp is PAID BY PBS to produce the shows. In fact, in 1992 PBS shelled out 1.75 MILLION DOLLARS for 20 new episodes after viewers threw a tantrum at the decision to cancel the show. That works out to 87 THOUSAND DOLLARS per show, or nearly 3 Thousand per minute of air time!
